TERMS AND CONDITIONS IN RELATION TO PRODUCTS AND SERVICES (INCLUDING HOLIDAYS, ACCOMMODATION AND EXPERIENCES) SOLD AND SUPPLIED BY GOODWILL GETAWAYS
These Terms govern the sale and supply of products and services by Goodwill Getaways, including accommodation, holidays and experiences.
Acceptance of Terms: By accessing Our website, purchasing Our products, or using Our services, you agree that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms.
Packages: Event organisers will receive an information pack from Goodwill Getaways which includes the specific terms and conditions in relation to the accommodation, holiday or experience (Package Terms). These Terms will apply to the Package Terms, to the extent that they are not already included.
Conduct of Service Providers: We engage with third party providers to deliver some of Our offered holidays, accommodation and experiences (Service Provider). Goodwill Getaways does not accept liability for the acts, conduct or warranties of any Service Provider.
Products and Services: We offer a range of holidays, accommodation and experiences which are donated and provided at a greatly reduced cost for charity auctions and are not resort owned properties. All accommodation, holidays and experiences are subject to change and availability. A full list of available accommodation, holidays and experiences will be made available to you in the Package Terms. Any dates for accommodation, holidays and experiences provided by Us or by a Service Provider are booked on a first in, first served, basis. Whilst all measures are taken to have suitable dates available, guests must be flexible with their travel dates when selecting a travel period and understand that special dates such as school holidays and other popular dates for travel may result in the accommodation, holidays or experiences being unavailable. Guest numbers are restricted as per arrangements with management of the accommodation. All guests 18 months and older are counted as part of the total guest numbers, and any additional guests will incur an extra charge. The Service Provider reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a booking for accommodation, holidays or experiences at any time, or to move the guest’s accommodation booking to a similar property in the event of unavailability. This property will be of the same high standard and all inclusions will still be provided. Any inquiries regarding Our offered accommodation, holidays and experiences can be sent directly to Our staff at holiday@goodwillgetaways.com.
Bookings and Payment: When you make and/or confirm a booking with Us, you warrant that the information you provide is complete and accurate. Payment for bookings must be made in full at the time of purchase, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing by Us. Vouchers for accommodation, holidays and experiences must be activated within two (2) months from the purchase date via https://goodwillgetaways.com/activate/ and utilised within twelve (12) months from the purchase date as indicated on the relevant voucher, unless future travel dates are specified on the item description. As the holiday, accommodation and experience dates are subject to availability and bookings are made on a first in, first served, basis, we recommend activating your voucher as early as possible and well within the 2-month expiry period. Failure to adhere to these timeframes for activation of vouchers and bookings will result in forfeiture of the voucher and associated charitable donation. Booking of holiday, accommodation and experience dates are final once confirmation has been received from Goodwill Getaways and no further changes can be made once dates have been confirmed. Cancellations made after bookings have been confirmed will result in forfeiture of the voucher and associated charitable donation.
Returns and Refunds: If an offer for the sale of goods and services is accepted, all purchases are final and no refunds will be given except as required by applicable law. Refunds will not be offered for changes of mind, non-attendance, or failure to book accommodation, holidays or experiences within the timeframe specified on the relevant voucher. However, your voucher can be transferred to another individual, subject to Our approval. Any transferred vouchers will remain bound by these Terms including the same timeframe outlined in the original voucher.
Force Majeure.: Goodwill Getaways and Our Service Providers shall not be liable for, and shall not be in breach of contract or otherwise by virtue of, any delay in performance, or non-performance, of obligations caused wholly or in part by the occurrence of any event beyond Our Control or the control of any Service Provider such as, but not limited to: fires, civil disobedience, pandemic, epidemic, war, riots, rebellions, explosion, flood, storm, acts of God and similar occurrences.
Intellectual Property: All content on Our website, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the exclusive property of Goodwill Getaways or its licensors and is protected by copyright law.
Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, Goodwill Getaways shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damage arising out of or in any way connected with the use of Our products or services.
Changes to Terms: We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon publication on Our website.
